One Bellhousing, many engines...

SuperFlow's CNC laser machined Multi-fit Bellhousing adapts Ford, Chevy and Mopar blocks to SuperFlow engine dynamometers. Leave the bellhousing attached to your dynamometer and save time attaching engines, and save shop space by using only one bellhousing.

The Multi-Fit Bellhousings are manufactured using the industry's most precise hydroforming process. Constructed using only mill-certified (material or steel). After precision CNC Laser machining, the finished bellhousing is powder coated for durability.

 

Features:

  • 6 7/16" depth
  • 12 o'clock positioned inspection opening with cover
  • Standard Muncie bolt pattern
  • Bolts directly to SF-833 or SuperStart, (SF-871 may require additional parts)
  • Other engine applications will require a mid plate or specific bell housing (not included)

Start The Engine With The Dynamometer

SuperFlow's SuperStart option puts the starter on the dynamometer. This can save you setup time by eliminating the need for a starter on the motor. The SuperStart allows you to start engines without starter bosses like sprint car engines. Made to SuperFlow's exacting specifications, the SuperStart will provide years of service.

 

Features:

  • Starts the engine from the dynamometer input shaft.
  • Spend less time mounting engines on the dyno.
  • Fits SF-833 or SF-871 water brake absorbers.
  • Custom spacer lengths available.
  • Starters available in 2 RH, 1 RH/1 LH, and 2 LH rotation.
  • Overall dimensions: 11.25"(28.5 cm) spacing from engine to Dyno, 12.5"(31.7 cm) diameter, 16.25"(41.2 cm) from top to bottom, 85 lbs (38.5 kg).
  • Floating shaft design eliminates "rattle" and can be adjusted to fit almost any bell housing depth. Allows for
  • small misalignments between motor and dyno, saving the bearings in the absorber and on the crankshaft from unnecessary loads.
  • Blank adapter rings and bell housing mounting plates available to mount to any application.
  • Easy assembly and disassembly.
